How to point a subdomain using LOCAWEB

Go to the Locaweb website and click the Central do Cliente icon;
Then enter your username and password;
Find the Domain Registration product under Meus Produtos;
Then click the Registro de domínio icon;
Find the domain you want to change and click Administrar;
On the selected domain, choose the Consulte option and change the DNS zone in the Zona de DNS section.
Inside your domain's DNS zone, click the Adicionar Entrada button.

If there is a Proxy setting, disable it!

Select the record type "CNAME";
Under "entrada" add the subdomain you'll use (e.g.: "www", "lp", "produtos");
Under priority, add "10";
Under "conteúdo" add "cname.greatpages.com.br".
Then click "adicionar entrada".

That's it! After this, the domain may take up to 48 hours to propagate.

It's important to note that the subdomain you point must not be in use on any other website outside GreatPages. For example: if you already use “www” on another website, you won't be able to use it on your pages.
