How to point only the ROOT DOMAIN to GreatPages, without the “WWW”
Even if you point your "root" domain to GreatPages, you will also need to point the "www" subdomain to the platform.
To point the subdomain, you can search here in our Help Center for how to do it on the platform where you manage your domain (e.g.: How to point a subdomain using Registro.br).
Once you finish pointing the subdomain, you'll already know how to reach the DNS Editor of the platform you use, so you'll only need to add a new DNS record with the settings below:
The "record type" must be "A".
Where you previously entered the "www" subdomain, you will now need to enter "@", "." or leave the field blank (each platform works with a different standard. If the field is not required, leave it blank. If it is required, try entering "@", and if that still isn't accepted, try entering ".").
And finally, in the "record address" field, enter this IP -> 104.17.57.49 or 104.17.58.49
Save the settings!
