How to point a subdomain through UOL HOST

  1. Go to the 🌎 customer panel on the Uol Host website and log in;
  2. In the side menu, click the "Domains" option;



  1. Now, on the “Domains” screen, click "Change DNS Zone";



  1. Under “Change DNS zone”, find the domain for which you want to create a subdomain and, in the “DNS Zone” column, click “Manage”;



  1. You will see a list of all the records you can create within the domain. Click the "Create New Entry" button under the "CNAME" Type.



  1. Click the “Create new entry” button;


If there is a Proxy setting, disable it!



  1. Under "Entry" you need to enter the subdomain you will use with GreatPages (e.g.: "www", "lp", etc). Under "Destination" you need to enter "cname.greatpages.com.br". Under "Entry status" leave the "enabled" option selected and then click the "check" icon to confirm.



All set! According to Uol Host, your domain may take up to 48 hours to propagate.


It's important to note that the subdomain you point must not be in use on another website outside GreatPages. For example: if you already use “www” on another website, you won't be able to use it on your pages.
