# How to point a subdomain using WIX

To point a subdomain hosted on Wix to GreatPages, follow the tutorial below:

1. Go to the **"Domains"** page;

2. Click the **"Show More (...)"** icon next to the relevant domain and click **"Manage DNS Records"**;

3. Go to the CNAME record type and click **"Add Record"**;

| If there is a Proxy setting, disable it!

4. Next, you'll need to follow these steps:

Under **"Host"** you'll need to enter the subdomain you'll use.

Under **"Value"** add **"cname.greatpages.com.br"**.

5. And finally, click **"Save"**!

That's it! After this, the domain may take up to 48 hours to propagate.

| It's important to note that the subdomain you point must not be in use on any other website outside GreatPages. For example: if you already use “www” on another website, you won't be able to use it on your pages.
