# How to point a subdomain using KINGHOST

1. Go to the KingHost Control Panel and select the domain that will receive this setting;

2. Among the tool options, choose the first one, **Manage DNS**;

3. Click to add a new record, of the **"CNAME"** type;

| If there is a Proxy setting, disable it!

4. Under **"Host"** you need to enter your subdomain. Under **"Type"** you'll need to keep **"CNAME"** selected. Under **"Destination"** you'll enter "cname.greatpages.com.br". Then click "Insert DNS".

**According to KingHost, the domain will be propagated within 48 hours.**

It's important to note that the subdomain you point must not be in use on any other website outside GreatPages. For example: if you already use “www” on another website, you won't be able to use it on your pages.
