# How to point a subdomain using HOSTINGER

1. Log in to your hPanel and find the **"Domains"** section. In the domain list, click on **"Manage"**;

2. Next, go to **"DNS/Nameservers"** and click this button;

3. After that, the screen where you must add the DNS record will open. To __point a subdomain__ (e.g. "www", "lp", "pages", "course", etc.) follow the settings below:

**Type: CNAME**
**Name: (subdomain you want to use)**
**Target:** **cname.greatpages.com.br**
**TTL: 300**

Now, to set up the __root domain record__ (which is needed when you point the "www" subdomain), also add the record below:

**Type: A**
**Name: @**
**Points to: 104.17.57.49**
**TTL: 300**

4. Finally, click on **"Add record".**
