# How to point a subdomain through NAMECHEAP

To point a subdomain on Namecheap, follow the tutorial below:

1. Log in to your Namecheap account;

2. Select **"Domain List"** in the menu on the left side;

3. Next, click the **"Manage"** button next to your domain:

4. After that, go to the **Advanced DNS** tab;

5. And finally, click the **"Add New Record"** button in the Host Records section;

4. Choose the **CNAME Record** in the drop-down menu for Type, put the subdomain you want to use in the desired **"Host"** field (for example, www ) and enter "cname.greatpages.com.br" in the **"Value"** field;
