# How to create a COLOR GRADIENT EFFECT on your site's BACKGROUND

To create the **color gradient effect on the background** of your site, follow the steps below:

1. Go to your page editor;

2. Click the **color palette icon** located in the top left corner of your screen and, in the "Saved colors" section, click **adicionar**;

3. In the menu that opens, give your color a name and then click its **HEX** code;

4. Next, click **"Gradiente"**, customize it however you like and click "**Save";**

5. After customizing it, select the desired block and click "**Edit";**

6. In the menu that appears on the right side of the screen, click "**Background**";

7. Finally, choose the color you just created, which will be under **"**Saved colors**"**;
