# How to add a MODAL or POP-UP in GreatPages

In GreatPages you can trigger a **Modal** or **Pop-up** through a click on a button, an image, an icon or a text.

1. Access your page editor

2. No matter which element it is, you will need to click on "**Edit"**;

3. After that, a settings screen will open on the left side, where you will need to click on **"Add link"**;

4. Next, select the **"Pop-up"** option;

5. When you do this, a white box will open on the screen where you can customize it as you wish (adding new elements through the left side menu of the screen).

|| Important tip: For the pop-up to work on the mobile version of your page, it must first be activated in the Mobile editor. That is, you need to access the Mobile editor and then click on **"Edit pop-up"**. Once you do that, it will open in the editor and therefore be created on your page.
