# GreatPages IPs for DNS pointing

## 🔧 What are the GreatPages IPs and DNS records?

To connect your domain to GreatPages correctly, you can use two types of records at your domain provider: **CNAME** and **Type A**. Below we explain when to use each one:

### CNAME record (for a subdomain such as www or lp)

* **Value:** `cname.greatpages.com.br`
    Use this type when connecting a **subdomain**, such as `www.seudominio.com.br` or `lp.seudominio.com.br`.

### Type A record (for a root domain)

* **Recommended IP:** `104.17.58.49 ou 104.17.57.49`
    This record is ideal when you want to use the domain **without a subdomain**, such as `seudominio.com.br`.


### Important recommendation:

If you're using **www as a subdomain**, we strongly recommend **also creating a Type A record for the root domain**, so your page works **with or without www** (e.g.: `www.seudominio.com.br` **and** `seudominio.com.br`).
